- Chris Higgins said how the best and most enjoyable element of a rock music video is the performance, he states how he enjoys going to gigs and in a rock music video he would enjoy 'seeing them in action and performing live even though I am not there'. He states how the high tempo of a rock song is the reason why he prefers that genre over any other, the reason that was given was; 'it suits my personality because I'm a very active, sporty person'
- Joshua Shardlow said how he enjoys seeing a narrative in a rock video that you can relate to. The reason why he prefers the genre of rock over other was the sounds in a rock song and the way it makes your feel. He says that in a rock music video he would like to see a performance which cuts to an appropriate narrative in certain places.
- Kevin Mitson said how 'the artist playing the music and singing instead of a weird storyline' is the aspect of a rock music video he most enjoys. He states how he 'is not the one for romantic music' and how he prefers (classic) rock because it it done by proper musicians who know how to play there instruments properly and don't just rely on electronically formed music which he says he 'detests'. He prefers performance music videos because he enjoys 'seeing them doing there stuff, playing the music', he says he is not that keen on a narrative video even though some rock musicians do include it.
